There’s a delicate balance of packing a suitcase to its fullest potential without ending up with seriously wrinkled clothes (not ideal vacation apparel). Luckily, HGTV star David Bromstad has just the formula to pull it off.
First, roll all your clothes: It’s fast and maximizes space. Next, don’t just toss in your bras, ladies. Stack ’em to maintain their shape and save space. Since dirty shoes can muck up the few travel clothes you have, keep those sneakers in a shoe bag or snag a shower cap from your hotel. Pack the heaviest items toward the wheels (so fragile items aren’t smashed when you roll the suitcase) and toss in a few dryer sheets for a fresh linen scent. Ta-da! You’re ready to jet set.
